Summary of Position

This position is responsible for managing customer quality, laboratory testing & measurement, and quality system processes to ensure product reliability and compliance. This position works closely with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional teams to maintain production stability, implement corrective actions plans, and sustain high‑quality standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage responses to customer quality issues, complaints, and inquiries
  • Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans (including 8D reports)
  • Support PPAP / PSW submissions for new or modified products
  • Collaborate with customer liaison teams to address on‑site quality concerns
  • Plan and execute product performance and durability tests (general scope, subject to future expansion)
  • Understand the customer requirements for testing and ability to interpret and report results
  • Manage calibration and preventive maintenance of measurement and testing equipment
  • Perform Gage R&R studies; analyze results and prepare reports
  • Conduct regular Process Tester/Tool Validation to ensure reliability of production inspection systems
  • Analyze test data and translate results into actionable quality improvements
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949
  • Conduct internal process audits and manage nonconformance actions
  • Monitor and report supplier quality performance (KPI)
  • Develop and standardize quality documentation and procedures
