Senior QA Engineer - Supplier Quality

Responsibilities

• Approving and qualifying new components and assemblies at suppliers, including process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Assessing quality performance issues of suppliers using multiple input data streams from Dexcom and supplier processes to support supplier development activities.
• Investigating non‑conformance issues, evaluating and approving corrective actions, and verifying effectiveness.
• Developing systems and processes to improve product safety, increase product consistency and conformance, maintain the supplier quality system, improve production efficiency, and reduce operating and scrap costs.
• Tracking and trending supplier improvements and ongoing projects cross‑functionally.

• Strong background in one of: injection molding, extrusion, stamping, electronics (PCB and PCBA manufacturing), wire manufacturing, machining and assembly.
• Minimum 5‑8 years of related experience (or advanced degree with equivalent experience).
• Experience in medical device quality engineering or supplier quality, with knowledge of 21

• Proficiency in techniques such as Six Sigma, gauge R&R, process capability analysis (Cpk/Ppk), lean manufacturing, sampling plans, and statistics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external teams.
• Ability to manage work and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Travel capability domestically and internationally.
• Training and/or certification for quality audits.

25‑50% domestic and international travel required.
