Role Description

The Quality Assurance Quality Control Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based at The Soap Gal’s cGMP-certified facility in Mesa, AZ. This role oversees daily QA/QC activities, including performing in-process and final product inspections, monitoring production lines, and verifying that all soap bars meet established quality standards and specifications. The coordinator maintains and updates quality documentation, supports internal audits, and ensures adherence to cGMP and company procedures.

They collaborate with production, R&D, and sourcing teams to investigate nonconformances, implement corrective and preventive actions, and improve processes. The role also includes training team members on quality protocols, tracking quality metrics, and supporting customer quality requirements.

Qualifications
  • Demonstrated skills in Quality Control and Inspection for manufacturing or related environments.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance and Quality Management, including documentation, procedures, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with Quality Auditing practices, internal audits, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of cGMP standards and basic regulatory requirements for cosmetic or personal care manufacturing.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional production and operations teams.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and quality tracking tools; ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, cosmetics, personal care, or related industries preferred; relevant technical or vocational training is a plus.
