Who we areOur Mesa, Arizona facility is a highly automated manufacturing operation that produces lifesaving airbag inflators for some of the world's leading automotive manufacturers. Using advanced automation, precision manufacturing, and rigorous quality standards, we deliver safety-critical products that people rely on every day.
What You'll Do- Serve as the site technical expert for CMM programming, dimensional metrology, and measurement systems.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CMM and vision system programs.
- Create and improve measurement plans, inspection methods, and standard work.
- Analyze measurement data, troubleshoot issues, and support root cause investigations.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts to improve quality and reduce variation.
- Train and mentor technicians on measurement equipment, CMM operation, and best practices.
- Support new product launches by validating measurement systems and inspection methods.
- Perform calibration, receiving inspection, MSA activities, and quality system support.
- Partner with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to solve manufacturing challenges.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of manufacturing quality, metrology, or measurement systems experience.
- Advanced CMM programming experience.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate degree in a technical field.
- Experience with Vision Systems and Indy Soft software.
- ASQ CQT or related certification.
- Experience training or mentoring others.
- Automotive or other highly regulated manufacturing experience.
- Become the plant's metrology and CMM programming expert.
- Work in a highly automated manufacturing environment.
- Support new product launches and advanced manufacturing technology.
- Drive meaningful improvements that impact quality, productivity, and safety.
- Help manufacture products that save lives.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Successful completion of 10-panel substance abuse screening, ATF lifetime background check, and employment eligibility verification.
