About the Role

The Interdisciplinary Research Lab (IRL) is seeking a detail-oriented Research Assistant to support ongoing research projects involving eye-tracking and behavioral data analysis. This role focuses on coding and organizing data collected from studies using iMotions software, contributing to research on learning, decision-making, and user experience in health sciences education.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in gaining hands‑on experience in applied research, human behavior, and emerging technologies in education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Code eye-tracking and behavioral data using iMotions software
  • Follow a structured coding protocol to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Review recorded sessions and apply predefined coding criteria
  • Organize and document coded data for analysis
  • Participate in initial training sessions and periodic check‑ins
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to research data protocols
