Shift Leader Firehouse Subs Power Road Mesa

Position Summary

REPORTS TO: General Manager

This position is fully accountable for the profitable operation of a specified shift as designated by the General Manager, ensuring compliance with all company guidelines and regulations.

• Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, and other legal requirements.
• Maintain knowledge, adherence, and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs® Policies and Procedures.
• Meet store goals for labor, customer service, and sales each shift.
• Drive profitability by operating shifts within established guidelines for food cost, labor, controllables, utilities, and sales growth.
• Lead the restaurant team of up to 5 to consistently meet standards of superior guest service, quality, and cleanliness while embracing Firehouse Subs® culture.
• Assist the GM in coordinating and implementing current operations game plans and company initiatives.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and disciplining employees under the guidance of the GM.
• Ensure all required programs, reports, and legal documents are accurate, complete, and completed on schedule.
• Ensure all staff are fully trained and knowledgeable on all Firehouse Subs positions and procedures.
• Actively participate in all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Represent Firehouse Subs® in a professional, positive manner at all times.
• Communicate effectively to the GM/Owner about any issues that may impact the business.
• Be able to work on their feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Perform any other duties assigned by GM/Owner.

Hours vary based on availability. 28‑38 hours per week.

Compensation: $15.30 – $16.15 per hour.
