Position Summary
The Part-Time Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, serving, and maintaining the hotel's complimentary breakfast area to ensure guests enjoy a clean, well-stocked, and welcoming dining experience. This position requires excellent customer service, attention to cleanliness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and set up the complimentary breakfast according to Spark by Hilton brand standards.
- Cook and replenish breakfast items throughout service.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the breakfast area, buffet, and dining room.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Refill beverages, condiments, utensils, and other breakfast supplies as needed.
- Wash dishes, clean kitchen equipment, and sanitize food preparation areas.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Assist with inventory and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
- Properly store food items and dispose of waste according to hotel procedures.
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
- Assist with light housekeeping duties in public areas as needed.
- Previous food service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required.
- Food Handler Certification (if required by state or local regulations).
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays.
