Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial: $17.00 USD per hour.

As a General Merchandise Expert, you will support a guest‑first culture by delivering excellent service, maintaining product availability, and ensuring a safe and welcoming store environment. Your duties include guest interaction, merchandising, and store operations.

• Greet and assist guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Help guests locate items, resolve issues, and complete transactions with a sincere thank you.
• Support team efforts and assist peers in other areas while maintaining a positive and respectful attitude.
• Adjust to business and guest needs to deliver an easy and inspiring guest experience.
• Execute daily tasks assigned by your leader, such as receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, setting up merchandise, pricing activities, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• If certified, operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Learn and execute operational procedures, such as setting and organizing merchandise, managing product accuracy and stock levels, and maintaining sales floor areas.
• Follow all Target policies and safety procedures and help maintain a safe, compliant workplace by reporting and correcting hazards.
• Support guest services such as back‑up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (picking/packing orders, delivery of pickup orders) and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Perform other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed.
• Capacity to climb ladders and move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions (Drive‑Up, carryout, etc.).
