Overview

Assistant Vitamin Manager helps people discover the benefits of supplements and vitamins, educates and coaches customers, and delivers exceptional customer service in a fast‑paced, friendly environment at Sprouts Farmers Market.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
  • Order and inventory control, product quality assurance, and supervise the Vitamin/HBA team.
  • Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver high‑quality service and product experience.
  • Provide customer assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products, guiding them without “prescribing”.
  • Recruit, hire, develop, mentor, and coach the Vitamin team.
  • Unload and sort store deliveries.
  • Ensure adherence to all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 18 years old and at least 1 year of vitamin, homeopathy, or holistic experience with leadership duties (or comparable education/experience).
  • Dependable and flexible, willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and strong customer interaction skills.
  • Good communication skills; ability to give and take direction while maintaining a team environment.
  • Perform general housekeeping in the department; clean and dust.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights & Measures regulations.
  • Willingness to learn about new products and alternative health.
  • Strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs., move a ladder up to 5 lbs., and handle a utility cart up to 35 lbs.; walk up to 3 miles in an 8‑hour shift.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
