Meat Clerk (#53) - Mesa, AZ

$16.50 per hour

• Provide excellent customer service to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Assist customers, clean shelves, and display cases.
• Clean, fill, and rotate the Meat Wrap displays.
• Take special orders and work with the Meat Cutter to determine which items need to be cut.
• Lift up to 60 pounds, regularly lift and move up to 25 and 45 pounds.
• Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods.
• Work in a fast‑paced grocery store environment.

The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store. Essential functions include lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling, as well as visual and auditory requirements.

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one‑on‑one or small group situations.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Have a Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification (required).
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (extra awesome).
• Retail Management Certificate (extra awesome).
