Role DescriptionThe Direct Sales Representative is responsible for increasing the number of active paid residential customers within a market through door-to-door interactions. This role primarily sells to residential homes and may include an opportunity to contribute across multiple dwelling unit (MDU) accounts. You will be working outdoors, going from home to home to achieve sales goals and work closely with your team leader and team members to build strong relationships and identify opportunities to improve sales techniques.
Responsibilities- Prospect residential customers by promoting GFiber’s internet services.
- Build a lead pipeline through door-to-door interactions and conduct in-person, phone, and/or email follow-up.
- Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool with relevant customer information, conversion status and notes.
- Partner with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Communicate the GFiber value proposition to customers.
- Demonstrate knowledge of GFiber’s network and technical deployment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time, including frequent walking and climbing stairs.
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation during the workday.
- Ability to pass a motor vehicle record check that meets company standards.
- Experience in the ISP or telecom industry.
- Proficiency in Sales Force or other industry‑leading lead management software.
- Proven track record of strong work ethic, ability to navigate ambiguity, solid communication skills, strong decision‑making and good judgment.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish.
Competitive on‑target earnings (OTE) of $75,000 – $82,500 per year ($33,750 base + uncapped sales bonus) + benefits. Those who reach OTE after six months are considered for promotion with a higher base salary and related OTE.
