Outside Sales Representative

Waste Rentals is an established and rapidly growing portable sanitation company located in Mesa, AZ, committed to providing dependable and high quality services throughout the valley. We serve construction teams, home builders, event coordinators, government agencies, and more. The Position

This is a full-time role for an Outside Sales Representative at Waste Rentals in Mesa, AZ. The Sales Representative will be responsible for conducting sales, building strong relationships with customers, providing excellent customer service, and developing new business opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong network of contacts to generate new sales opportunities.
• Engage with customers and prospects to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Present and demonstrate product features and benefits tailored to customer requirements.
• Foster long-term customer relationships through consistent communication and proactive problem resolution after the sale.
• Stay connected with existing and past customers, providing updates on new offerings, services, and enhancements.
• Keep accurate and detailed records of all sales activities, including calls, orders, lost business, and relationship issues.
• Participate in trade shows, industry organizations, and related events as needed.
• Routinely travel within the greater Phoenix market, visiting existing and potential customer job sites.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required.

• Proficient with Google Workspace.
• Skilled in data entry and experienced with CRM software applications.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or a related field (preferred) or at least five years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of the waste or sanitation industry is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
• Must be able to maneuver through active construction sites.
• Must have a clean MVR

Compensation includes a competitive base salary, uncapped commission potential, and performance-based bonuses.
