The Sr. Executive Inside Sales Consultant serves as a strategic sales partner to the assigned Executive Sales Consultant, driving new business growth, broker engagement, and territory development. This role is responsible for generating sales opportunities, recruiting, and onboarding brokers, conducting training, and supporting the overall success of the territory. In addition, the Sr. Executive Inside Sales Consultant acts as a subject matter expert on products, carrier solutions, market trends, and sales processes while providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to internal teams and broker partners.
Salary Range: $99,375.00 To $ Annually
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development- Partner with the assigned Executive Sales Consultant to execute territory sales strategies and achieve growth objectives.
- Generate new business through broker recruitment, outbound prospecting, sales campaigns, referrals, and lead development activities.
- Respond to inbound sales inquiries, qualify opportunities, and provide product and sales support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with active, prospective, and inactive brokers to increase sales across all product lines.
- Conduct broker onboarding, product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions highlighting Warner Pacific tools, services, carrier solutions, and market opportunities.
- Schedule appointments and support territory activities to maximize field sales effectiveness.
- Assist brokers with marketing plans, lead-generation efforts, quoting, enrollment support, and sales strategy development.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists to identify growth opportunities and increase awareness of specialty product offerings, including Medicare and ancillary products.
- Maintain a strong understanding of market conditions, carrier portfolios, plan benefits, regulatory requirements, and the Affordable Care Act.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for brokers, peers, and internal teams on products, carrier updates, industry trends, compliance requirements, and sales best practices.
- Act as a resource and mentor to team members by sharing knowledge, coaching best practices, and contributing to skill development.
- Lead training initiatives and educational sessions to improve broker engagement, product knowledge, and sales effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations and insights to leadership regarding market opportunities, competitive intelligence, broker feedback, and emerging trends.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, Product Specialists, Carrier Partners, and Account Management teams.
- Demonstrate leadership by influencing positive outcomes, driving accountability, and fostering a high-performance culture without direct supervisory responsibility.
- Serve as a key point of contact and territory leader during periods when the assigned Executive Sales Consultant is unavailable.
- Recognized as a go-to resource for brokers and internal teams.
- Demonstrates executive presence and consultative selling skills.
- Leads through influence, expertise, and collaboration.
- Drives broker engagement, adoption of sales initiatives, and territory performance.
- Continuously develops industry knowledge and shares best practices across the organization.
- Maintain frequent and effective contact with brokers to strengthen relationships and increase production.
- Support all broker inquiries and territory activities in alignment with the assigned Executive Sales Consultant.
- Handle inbound and outbound communications related to sales opportunities, product support, service questions, and carrier solutions.
- Identify high-potential brokers and develop strategies to increase engagement, retention, and production.
- Accurately maintain CRM records, including sales activities, broker interactions, pipeline management, opportunities, and follow-up activities.
- Monitor and manage pipeline progression to ensure opportunities move efficiently through the sales cycle.
- Identify workflow improvements and operational efficiencies and provide recommendations for implementation.
- Demonstrate outstanding judgment, professionalism, integrity, and accountability in all interactions.
- Utilize effective sales strategies and efficient processes to achieve performance goals and enhance the broker experience.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of health insurance, employee benefits, or related sales experience.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and driving territory growth.
- Active Arizona Life and Health Insurance License.
- Be a resident of Arizona.
- Be able to go into the Phoenix, AZ office on a periodic basis, determined by management.
