Role Description
the Director of Commercial Sales is a full-time, on-site position based in Mesa, AZ. As Director of Commercial Sales at Aviatt LLC, you will assist the commercial sales team in expanding sales opportunities while working to maintain strong customer relationships. In this role, you will be responsible for working with team members to meet customer needs, engage new companies, and create new opportunities for growth.
You will also collaborate closely with the business development team. Your efforts will aid in aligning sales activities with overall company goals, ensuring that both short-term targets and long-term growth and profit targets are met. This role oversees the development and execution of sales strategies, manages key customer relationships, and drives revenue growth in alignment with organizational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing sales teams, setting performance targets, monitoring sales operations, and ensuring effective account management for existing and new customers.
The role also involves analyzing market trends, identifying new business opportunities, and implementing process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in Sales Operations and Account Management, including pipeline management, forecasting, and customer relationship development in the aviation aftermarket industry.
- Strong customer service and communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong Team Leadership capabilities, with experience building, coaching, and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Experience in Quantum (ERP) is preferred.
- Manage existing client relationships.
- Generate new opportunities and sales.
- Identify inventories and assets to purchase.
- Pursue new clients and business opportunities.
- Demonstrate professionalism and leadership
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ability to work on-site in Mesa, AZ and travel as needed to customers, suppliers, and industry events.
