Salary: $22.00/hr
A CURRENT ARIZONA GUARD CARD IS REQUIRED.
Security Relief Officer Responsibilities- Acknowledge and greet all guests in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals/vehicles.
- Assist in protecting others and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
- Monitor and/or detect any suspicious behavior to assist in the prevention of vandalism, theft and/or other criminal behavior.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
- Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
- Warn violators of infractions e.g., loitering, smoking and/or in possession of prohibited items.
- Respond to calls of distress, alarms and/or emergencies such as fire, injuries or presence of unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
- Identify and report any and all concerns (safety, security breaches, unusual circumstances) in a timely manner.
- Ensures accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports/documents).
- Ensure all rules/regulations are being enforced and followed.
- Other duties to be determined by Management.
- Valid AZ Security License mandatory
- Valid and Clean Driver's License
- High School Diploma
- Professional demeanor and appearance
- Proficient computer skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Minimum of one year of security experience
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
- This position will require occasional, crouching, climbing of stairs, sitting, standing, stooping and walking for extended periods of time
