Security Officer Badge Control – Mesa, AZ

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Mon – Fri 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and help deter unauthorized access at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, documenting security‑related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, and other designated areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow‑up.
• Support reception and visitor management functions by maintaining accurate access records, issuing visitor badges and/or temporary credentials, and communicating site protocols clearly and professionally.

• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be subject to mandatory background investigation, mandatory driver screening (if applicable), and mandatory driver license (if applicable) in accordance with all applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
