** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology data center by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access control points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining accurate logs and documentation of security-related activities.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

+ Support the protection of critical technology infrastructure by following established protocols for visitor management, vehicle access, deliveries, and restricted-area entry.

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+ Possession of a guard card or applicable license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
