Job OverviewWe are currently seeking a Lighting Fixture Installer to join our team and work in the Phoenix, AZ, market. This is a full‑time position that will require working the night shift. The ideal candidate will have experience installing various lighting fixtures and a strong understanding of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities- Install various types of lighting fixtures, including recessed lights, chandeliers, track lights, and outdoor lighting
- Maintain and repair lighting systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to determine fixture placement and wiring
- Ensure all fixtures are installed correctly according to safety and industry standards
- Cut and mount 2x4s, install mounts in drop ceilings, and handle other essential installation tasks
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the installation process
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
- Use proper ladder safety techniques and follow best practices for working in customer‑occupied environments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring customer furniture and equipment are covered and protected during installation
- Stay up to date with industry advancements, energy‑efficient lighting, and smart lighting technology
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in lighting fixture installation
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work during the night shift
- Strong time management skills and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Professional appearance and adherence to company safety standards
- Detail‑oriented, mindful of customer property, and able to work without leaning or standing on customer furniture or equipment
- Pay range: $18 - $24/hr with performance‑based increases
- Schedule:
