Job Title:

Field Technician

Responsible for installing, testing, and troubleshooting PLC-based gas and chemical delivery equipment. This position will be the focal point for customer support issues, including receiving and logging customer requests and working throughout the organization to provide solutions back to customers in a timely manner. This position requires the individual to work primarily from the CTS office with regular visits to install or troubleshoot at local and remote customers.

An ideal candidate will be a self-motivated professional with the ability to multitask on various projects and willingness to travel domestically and internationally - 75% of the time.

• Manages field service activities with customers and internal organizations
• Performs installation, setup, calibration, and testing on UHP gas systems at customer sites
• Upload and troubleshoot PLC and HMI code for Allen-Bradley and Siemens devices
• Installs, repairs, and replaces electro-mechanical components and assemblies
• Analyzes equipment performance, schedules maintenance and calibration when needed
• Provides information and develops solutions on issues that have occurred during field service startup
• Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
• Recognizes a variety of issues, problems, or opportunities in own process and determines whether action is needed
• Reads, analyzes, and interprets technical drawings, wiring diagrams, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations

Job Type: This is a permanent position.

Work Site:
This is a fully on-site position in Phoenix, Arizona.

Work Environment:
Candidate will be on the road 50-75% of the time - Must be OK with travel and long days/weekends.
