Job Title:
Concrete Finisher
This role involves pouring, setting, and finishing concrete for a variety of construction projects, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and precision. You will use hand and power trowels and work on both horizontal and vertical concrete applications in a fast‑paced construction environment.
Responsibilities- Pour concrete for slabs, foundations, and other structural elements according to project specifications.
- Set, align, and secure concrete forms to ensure accurate dimensions and proper grade.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand trowels, power trowels, and other finishing tools to achieve the required texture and appearance.
- Work on vertical concrete construction, including walls, columns, and other vertical structures.
- Monitor concrete curing conditions and make adjustments to finishing techniques as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with other crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
- Adapt to working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions.
- Work scheduled hours consistently and be available for occasional Saturday shifts as required by project needs.
- At least 5 years of experience working as a Concrete Finisher.
- Strong proficiency in concrete pouring, form setting, and finishing.
- Experience with vertical concrete construction, including walls and similar structures.
- Ability to use hand and power trowels and other concrete finishing tools safely and effectively.
- OSHA 10 certification.
- Ability to pass required screenings.
- Capability to work in hot conditions and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Reliability in adhering to a Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule, with flexibility for some Saturdays.

Work EnvironmentWork takes place at a construction site with both indoor and outdoor areas. You will work primarily Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with occasional Saturday shifts based on project demands. The environment can be hot, and you must be comfortable working in varying weather conditions while performing physically demanding tasks. The site follows OSHA safety standards and uses typical commercial construction tools and equipment appropriate for concrete finishing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
