Diesel Mechanic (full time).

Location:

SHOP - TONOPAH, AZ 85354. Experience level:
Experienced. Class:
Automotive. Salary range: $24.00 - $31.00 per hour. This role involves inspection, maintenance, and repair of heavy equipment, diesels, forklifts, and farm equipment, including OTR trucks and trailers, while maintaining safety compliance.

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on heavy equipment, diesels, forklifts, and farm equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in heavy equipment, diesels, forklifts, and farm equipment.
• Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, electrical, and emissions systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Class 8 trucks and trailers, including fuel injection and cooling systems.
• Display sense of urgency, adhere to all safety policies, procedures and standards, and wear personal protective equipment when required.
• Operate vehicles and equipment safely to test and troubleshoot before and after maintenance.

• Strong background in diagnostics on Mack and Volvo.
• 1-2 years of experience with Class 8 heavy‑duty diesel trucks and medium fleet automotive.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, chassis, and power‑train systems.
• Familiarity with electrical/computer control systems, ABS brake system, and air conditioning systems.
• Some basic computer knowledge.
• Possess own tools necessary to perform job functions.
