This is a full‑time, on‑site Mitigation Tech role based in Mesa, AZ. Mitigation Techs are responsible for responding to property damage events, setting up and monitoring drying and dehumidification equipment, and assisting with water extraction, debris removal, and structural cleaning. Daily tasks include assessing affected areas, documenting damage with photos and notes, and following established mitigation plans under the direction of supervisors or project managers.
The role involves safely handling tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized job site, and adhering to company safety standards and local regulations. Mitigation Techs also interact with property owners and other stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress and supporting the team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Strong mitigation and hazard mitigation skills, including hands‑on experience or interest in water, fire, or storm damage restoration.
- Solid analytical skills to assess site conditions, identify risks, and follow mitigation plans accurately.
- Effective communication abilities to interact professionally with team members, supervisors, and property owners.
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn emergency management practices and procedures in a restoration environment.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to safety, reliability, punctuality, and teamwork on job sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to project locations as needed.
- Previous experience in restoration, construction, or a related trade is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
