Service Technician – Mesa, AZ

The Service Technician plays a key role in preparing our apartment homes for rent, maintaining building and grounds, and ensuring resident satisfaction. Responsibilities include daily inspections, maintenance tasks, and collaboration with the team.

• Ensure apartment homes are market ready and walk daily.
• Participate in the general maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, complete resident work orders, and prepare units for rent.
• Perform maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, electrical, HVAC, and pool maintenance (e.g., skimmer emptying, chemical testing).
• Conduct light electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, door locks, re-keying, and P.O. boxes.
• Follow the service process through completion, inspecting work for conformance to specifications and standards.
• Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Assist in distributing company or community-issued notices (e.g., bad weather, emergency).
• Walk market-ready units daily and communicate needed supplies or assistance.
• Ensure safe practices are followed, uphold community policies, and maintain professionalism.
• Support a harmonious team environment.
• Maintain accurate records for preventive maintenance, work orders, and other required documentation.
• Work nights, weekends, and rotate being on call with flexibility.
• Perform other duties assigned as needed.
• Demonstrate strong communication, influencing, and time management skills.
• Enjoy being part of a team and have previous maintenance experience (preferred).
• Have availability and flexibility to work weekends and be on-call.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

• HVAC Certification (preferred).
