Tibshraeny Electric is hiring an Apprentice Electrician to support commercial and industrial electrical projects throughout Mesa and the surrounding area. This is a hands‑on position for a dependable, safety-minded electrician who is ready to strengthen their field skills while working alongside experienced journeymen and foremen.

The Opportunity

As an Apprentice Electrician, you will help install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on commercial and industrial job sites. You will work under the direction of a Foreman and experienced electricians while developing the technical knowledge, job‑site awareness, and craftsmanship required to progress in the electrical trade.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Assist with commercial and industrial electrical installations according to blueprints, specifications, and supervisor direction.
  • Install, support, and organize conduit systems, raceways, wiring, boxes, fixtures, devices, and power‑distribution components.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and install conduit, including EMT and other raceway systems, under supervision.
  • Pull wire and cable, label materials, and assist with terminations as assigned.
  • Read basic blueprints, electrical plans, and schematics with guidance from senior field personnel.
  • Support troubleshooting of electrical controls, equipment, and systems while learning safe diagnostic procedures.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas to support job‑site safety and efficient operations.
  • Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, testing equipment, and required personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate material needs, project progress, and field concerns to the Foreman and team.
  • Follow all company safety policies, job‑site rules, and technical instructions.
Required Qualifications
  • 1–4 years of related electrical, construction, commercial, or industrial field experience.
  • Foundational knowledge of electrical tools, materials, safety practices, and job‑site procedures.
  • Ability to take direction, follow detailed instructions, and work effectively as part of a field team.
  • Reliable attendance, punctuality, strong work ethic, and a professional attitude.
  • Ability to maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Ability to work safely in active commercial and industrial construction environments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in varying conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to Mesa‑area and Valley job sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, device installation, lighting, and commercial electrical rough‑in.
  • Familiarity with commercial or industrial power‑distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
  • Enrollment in, completion of, or willingness to pursue an electrical apprenticeship program.
