Experienced A&P Mechanic - Various Shifts - Mesa, AZ

Job Summary

To perform licensed A&P Mechanic work, including repairs, maintenance, overhaul, modifications, and troubleshooting, on Textron Aviation aircraft at the Mesa Service Center.

• Perform mechanical duties on various aircraft models involving diagnosis of malfunctions and required disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare aircraft for flight and delivery to customer.
• Perfom turbine engine troubleshooting, inspection, repair, and engine run‑ups.
• Conduct airframe system, component changes and systems checkout.
• Perform installation of service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
• Utilize knowledge of 100‑hour, annual and progressive inspection procedures set forth in FAR 43.
• Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
• Tow and move aircraft during the performance of maintenance duties.
• Assist in cleaning parts and components during repair and assembly of aircraft.
• Perform other tasks and duties associated with the service center operation.
• Be responsible for own work.

• High school education or equivalent required.
• A&P License is required.
• In lieu of an A&P license, must have a DD214 form to be reviewed and be eligible for company-sponsored technical certification and future license achievement. Must have hours of on‑the‑job training (MOS/NEC/AFSC) reviewed and evaluated by FSDO.
• Require use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet airframe and engine principles. Must have knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.

• Requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience with diversified jet and/or turboprop modification, aircraft/flight maintenance or airframe sheet metal maintenance. Preferred 5 years of experience.
• Preferred experience in a customer service facility performing inspections and repair of aircraft.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Airport Security Badge through the local airport authority (if applicable).
