Keeping storm water clean and protecting our surface water is a job for all. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has identified that approximately 30% of known pollution to our nation's water is attributed to storm water runoff. At Storm Water Pros, LLC, we are at the forefront of drywell innovation and other drainage strategies to spearhead the charge in storm water conservation.

Seeking an experienced diesel mechanic with strong diagnostics, hydraulics, and field repair capabilities on heavy equipment and fleet vehicles, including hydrovac trucks.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record is a must
  • Ability to pass a background and a drug test
  • 5+ years of automotive and diesel repair, truck experience or combination of education & experience, with verifiable certifications
  • CDL a plus, but not required
  • Experience in heavy equipment/hydraulics preferred
  • Hydrovac truck experience a plus
  • Must have appropriate mechanic's tool set
  • Must be capable of working independently and as part of a team
  • Motivated to work in a safe environment and keep workspace clean and tidy
  • Able to work evenings and Saturdays as needed

Responsibilities

  • Inspecting fleet vehicles and heavy equipment for mechanical issues, safety concerns, or wear and tear
  • Diagnosing problems with engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems
  • Using diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle and equipment performance and identify issues
  • Performing regular maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
  • Replacing worn or damaged parts to keep vehicles and equipment in safe working order
