The calibration technician is responsible for maintaining, testing, and calibrating a variety of tools, equipment, and instruments. Ensures that all assets are properly input into the proprietary system and calibrated correctly. Performs accurate readings. Comply with all industry standards, company policies, and quality controls. Responsibility for calibrating a wide range of assets for one or more skill areas, such as:
- Electrical Equipment
- Dimensional Equipment
- Industrial/Mechanical Equipment
- Temperature Equipment
- Torque Tools
- Chain Hoists
A successful candidate will have the following:
- Valid Driver's License
- Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional Equipment
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
- Basic understanding of mathematics
- High level of personal standards
- Attention to detail
- Quick Books experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in MS Office programs (Word and Excel)
- Ability to work and thrive both independently and under supervision
- Ability to lift and manipulate 50 lbs without assistance
- Eager and willing to learn.
* Pay rate depends on qualifications and past work history.
