We are seeking a reliable and skilled Garage Door Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Mesa, Arizona. This role is essential in providing high-quality service for residential and commercial garage door systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional mechanical skills and possess a strong commitment to customer service. As a Garage Door Technician, you will have a direct impact on our clients’ satisfaction by ensuring safe and efficient garage door operations.
Key Responsibilities- Inspect and diagnose issues with garage door systems and components.
- Perform repairs and installations of garage doors and openers efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and maintenance.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and inventory used.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and best practices while on the job site.
- Stay updated on new products and technologies in the garage door industry.
- A valid Drivers license.
- A reliable truck or van.
- Tools for the trade or the means to purchase the tools needed.
- Open availability including weekends.
- Pass a background check.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills related to garage door systems.
- Proven customer service skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical or garage door systems are a plus.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred.
This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Pay is per job.
This position operates within a team structure that fosters collaboration. You will report directly to the service manager and work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient service delivery. Cross-functional collaboration may occur with customer service representatives to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
