Edge Core Digital Infrastructure is partnering with the DoD Skill Bridge program to offer active-duty service members a full-time internship as a Core Operations Technician, one of the most hands-on, high-impact roles on our team. Our Skill Bridge placements are intended to be 26 weeks and to lead directly to full-time employment with Edge Core. While a formal offer is contingent on performance and mutual fit, we bring Skill Bridge participants on with the expectation that they will be joining our team permanently upon completion.

As a Core Operations Technician, you'll be one of the most trusted eyes and ears on the ground. You'll play a critical role in keeping our systems running smoothly and safely — monitoring data center conditions, leading vendor operations, and acting as a first responder when something doesn't look right. More than that, you'll help shape the future of Edge Core's operational excellence.

• Monitor critical infrastructure systems and proactively identify issues before they impact performance
• Serve as a safety-first responder for cooling and electrical systems during operational events
• Oversee daily vendor and contractor activities to ensure work is completed safely and to standard
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track, document, and manage work orders, assets, and spare parts
• Author, review, and execute formal operating procedures with rigorous procedural discipline
• Support continuous improvement efforts by contributing feedback that refines our operations playbook

  Up to 180 days

  Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Compensation during Skill Bridge:
  Covered by your military pay and benefits
• Target base pay upon full-time hire: $35–$55/hr. depending on location, experience, and qualifications, plus performance-based annual bonus

• Full-time hourly, non-exempt role:
  Onsite position based at a data center location in East Mesa, AZ, Reno, NV, or Santa Clara, CA.
