Foreman, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor, Electrician​/ Electrician Installation

Overview

As a Foreman at Prime Controls, you willbe responsible for leading field crews in the installation, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation, control systems, and electrical components. You will coordinate with superintendents, project managers, and safety personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, andin accordance with specifications and company standards.

• Supervise and lead a crew of technicians or electricians on job site tasks

• Interpret and implement construction drawings, specifications, and schedules

• Plan daily activities and delegate tasks to meet project timelines

• Monitor the quality of work and ensure it meets company and customer standards

• Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce compliance with safety policies

• Maintainaccuraterecords of labor, material usage, and work progress

• Coordinate with project managers and superintendents on scheduling, materials, andchangeorders

• Troubleshoot and resolve field issues related to instrumentation, controls, or electrical work

• Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for assigned crew

• Provide hands-onassistancewith installations, terminations, loop checks, and testing as needed

• 3+ years of experience in electrical, controls, or I&C field installation work

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a construction or field environment

• Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation drawings, P&IDs, and wiring diagrams

• Proven ability to lead crews andmaintainworksite productivity and safety

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with NEC and OSHA safety regulations

• Journeyman or Master Electrician License (as required by state/local jurisdictions)

• OSHA 30 certification

• NCCER or other industry-recognized credentials

• Experience working in industrial environments such as water/wastewater, oil & gas, or semiconductor facilities

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
