Industrial Maintenance Technician Trainee
$28.50 to $33.00 per hour
About the RoleJumpstart your technical career with our Industrial Maintenance Trainee Program, a comprehensive development path designed to transform your mechanical aptitude into expert-level proficiency. Over an intensive 21-month period, you will master the art of troubleshooting, repairing, and optimizing complex high-speed production machinery through a combination of classroom theory and hands-on floor experience.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with senior technicians to master the diagnostics and repair of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance schedules to ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
- Gain proficiency in reading technical schematics and blueprints to resolve complex equipment failures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot critical production assets, including conveyor systems, motors, and automated machinery.
- Participate in specialized off-site technical training programs to stay at the forefront of industrial technology.
- Apply knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems to restore peak performance to manufacturing lines.
- Technical degree, certification, or a high school diploma paired with at least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a natural drive for complex problem-solving.
- Ability to travel for specialized training sessions as required.
- Willingness to adapt to rotating shift schedules and potential relocation post-graduation.
- Foundational knowledge of industrial automation and CNC systems.
- Experience with electrical systems diagnostics and industrial repair.
- Demonstrated ability to perform detailed equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
