Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains manufacturing equipment and facility systems, with a strong focus on both mechanical and electrical components. This role works on press machines, die cutter machines, and various facility repairs, ensuring equipment runs safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment, including press machines and die cutter machines.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Run electrical lines and airlines as needed to support equipment installation, relocation, and operational changes.
• Move, install, and set up machinery and equipment within the facility in a safe and organized manner.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and take action on mechanical or electrical duties as they arise.
• Conduct facility repairs and maintenance tasks to support a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
• Use pneumatics knowledge to troubleshoot and repair pneumatic systems and components.
• Read and interpret work orders, specifications, and technical documentation to plan and execute maintenance tasks.
• Operate tow motors (forklifts) to move materials and equipment when needed, following all safety procedures.
• Successfully complete and apply knowledge from the Bennett mechanical aptitude test in daily maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime and support continuous operations.
• Work scheduled weekday shifts and required weekend overtime, maintaining reliability and consistency with the set schedule.

• Hands-on experience performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair press machines, die cutter machines, and other production machinery.
• Strong electrical background or prior maintenance work with electrical components.
• Experience with pneumatics and pneumatic systems used in industrial environments.
• Ability to read and understand work orders, specifications, and related technical instructions.
• Capability to run electrical lines and airlines safely and in compliance with facility standards.
• Skill in moving, installing, and setting up machinery using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Tow motor (forklift) experience for safely handling and relocating equipment and materials (preferred).
• Ability to pass the Bennett mechanical aptitude test.
• Reliability and flexibility to work Monday Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, including overtime and two weekends per month.

• Previous electrical and mechanical experience in a printing and/or thermoforming industry is a plus.
• Tow motor (forklift) experience is preferred.
• Pneumatics experience and familiarity with pneumatic tools and systems.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work orders and specifications.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Comfort working in a large warehouse environment and around industrial machinery.
