Salary: $47,840 - $49,920

Schedule:
Mon - Fri 9 am - 5 pm

Job Summary:

The Program Supervisor oversees the daily operations of a transitional housing program serving individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability. This position provides supervision, coaching, and support to assigned staff while ensuring quality participant services are delivered in a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment. Responsibilities include overseeing program operations, participant services, documentation, compliance, safety practices, and facility needs. The Program Supervisor helps ensure program goals, contractual requirements, and agency standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, guidance, coaching, and support to assigned staff while promoting professional growth, accountability, and high performance standards.
  • Facilitate daily program operations and ensure staff adhere to agency policies, procedures, program requirements, and service standards.
  • Monitor participant services, staff performance, facility operations, and program activities to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with agency, contractual, licensing, and funding requirements.
  • Support staff in addressing participant concerns, service needs, housing barriers, behavioral concerns, and program challenges.
  • Assess and address participant, staff, facility, and operational issues, exercising sound judgment and escalating concerns to leadership as appropriate.
  • Monitor participant admissions, discharges, program engagement, and service delivery to support participant success and program effectiveness.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete participant documentation, incident reports, program records, census information, and required reporting.
  • Prepare and submit reports related to participant census, facility conditions, incidents, participant concerns, program activities, scheduled intakes, discharges, and other operational matters as required.
  • Monitor facility conditions and communicate maintenance, safety, security, and operational concerns to leadership.
  • Promote and maintain a safe environment for participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors by ensuring compliance with agency safety practices, emergency procedures, and risk management standards.
  • Respond to participant crises, facility emergencies, and critical incidents in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, community providers, referral partners, and other stakeholders to support participant services and program operations.
  • Ensure information communicated internally and externally is accurate, professional, and reflective of A New Leaf's mission, values, and standards.
  • Monitor compliance with agency policies, professional standards, code of conduct expectations, and ethical practices while providing coaching and corrective guidance when appropriate.
  • Foster a collaborative, trauma-informed, participant-centered environment that supports participant success, housing stability, and staff engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications:

    Education:
    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Behavioral Health, Public Administration, or a related field preferred.
    • An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
    Experience:
    • Two (2) years of experience working in homeless services, shelter services, transitional housing, supportive housing, behavioral health, human services, or a related field required.
    • One (1) year of experience providing supervision, lead work, program coordination, or team leadership preferred.
    • Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, housing instability, behavioral health challenges, substance use disorders, trauma, or other barriers to self-sufficiency.
    • Experience supporting participant services, program operations, documentation, and compliance requirements.
    • Experience preparing reports, maintaining records, and utilizing electronic documentation systems.
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
