Position: West Valley Health Equity – Heal & Home Corps

West Valley Health Equity – Heal & Home Corps

West Valley Health Equity (WVHE) is a community‑rooted nonprofit organization in Central Phoenix focused on healing, connection, and justice for families impacted by trauma, housing instability, and systemic inequity. Our work centers on improving the social determinants of health for families with young children—mothers navigating recovery, poverty, or instability. WVHE provides trauma‑informed housing, parent coaching, wellness navigation, and health equity services.

We operate two family‑focused transitional housing programs (Lily House and Preston House), as well as a resource center offering one‑on‑one support, healthcare referrals, developmental screenings, and parenting education using evidence‑based approaches like Triple P. Our team blends direct service, peer support, and systems navigation to help families achieve long‑term stability. Whether assisting with healthcare access, rebuilding family bonds, or navigating DCS, DES, or housing systems, WVHE is committed to meeting people where they are—with dignity and compassion.
