About the role
As a Senior Software Engineering Lead (.NET & Angular), you will make an impact by leading the design, development, and delivery of secure, high-performing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure. You will be a valued member of an Agile delivery team and collaborate closely with product owners, architects, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable solutions that support mission-critical business needs.
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, refinement, and estimation, while proactively removing technical blockers for the team
- Design, develop, and optimize production-grade .NET 10/C# services and APIs, including MVC endpoints, long-running processes, and Azure Functions/Web Jobs
- Build and maintain high-performance Angular (19+) user interfaces with clean state management and responsive behavior for large, data-intensive applications
- Drive data and search performance improvements by optimizing LINQ and Entity Framework usage, tuning Azure SQL indexing, and configuring Azure AI Search
- Own CI/CD pipeline reliability by managing YAML-based pipelines and resolving build and deployment issues across automated build, test, and release stages to Azure App Service
- Monitor and improve production readiness using Azure Application Insights, addressing latency and dependency issues, remediating security scan findings, and maintaining accurate technical documentation

What you need to have to be considered- Proven experience designing, developing, and supporting production-grade applications using .NET 10 (MVC/API), C#, Entity Framework, and XUnit
- Hands-on expertise building modern frontend applications with Angular 19 or higher
- Strong background in cloud-native architecture and operations on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Functions, Web Jobs, Application Insights, Azure SQL, Storage, Event Grid, and Azure AI Search
- A performance engineering mindset, with demonstrated success identifying, diagnosing, and resolving systemic application and data bottlenecks
- Security-first development experience, including OAuth2, OpenID Connect, Managed Identities, and routine code and Azure security reviews
- 5+ years of recent, hands-on software development experience, delivering enterprise-scale solutions
- 2+ years of people or technical leadership experience, mentoring engineers and guiding teams toward successful delivery
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, building CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience modernizing or scaling legacy systems to cloud-native architectures
- Deep knowledge of Azure observability, monitoring, and incident response best practices
- A passion for engineering excellence, clean code, and continuous improvement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
