Materials Driver​/Expeditor

Western Building Group is a construction company located in Mesa, AZ. We’re looking for a local driver to deliver materials and supplies to jobsites and assist in our logistics department. Come join our rapidly growing team and work with the most stellar employees you’ll ever meet!

• Work with different department heads to monitor inventory levels, assess supply vendors, and ensure delivered supplies meet quality standards
• Verify supplies, manage supply requisition, and communicate with suppliers to determine expected delivery dates
• Ensure interdepartmental communication for improved coordination of productive operations
• Monitor project deliverables and collaborate with Project Managers for updates on delivery timeliness
• Occasional out of town travel

• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• 20 years of age or older (to be added to the company insurance)
• Dependable – you will be part of a team who needs you there every day on time
• Safe worker- the company provides all necessary safety gear for delivering on job sites
• Able to follow instructions and desire to learn
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and great time management skills
• Able to stand for long periods of time, lift 75 lbs, bend, twist, use of hands and fingers
• Able to work in outdoor conditions
• Proficient in spreadsheet software, inventory management tools helpful
• Ability to operate a forklift (Forklift Certified Preferred)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  - Must be able to pull a trailer
• Able to pass a background check for municipal, state, and federal installations
• Must pass preemployment drug screening
• Ability to get Medical DOT exam certification
