PHI Health invites skilled pilots to join our elite team as Travel Pilots. In this role you will operate line pilot duties, adhere to PHI Air Medical policies, support safety management systems, and provide safe, efficient, courteous service to our patients and customers.
Job SummaryPHI Air Medical (operating under CAMTS guidelines) NVG (Instrument rating required) 24‑hour operations (day/night rotation). The Travel Pilot will travel to an assigned base, participate in community outreach, and assist in loading and unloading patients and equipment.
Qualifications- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
- First Class Medical
- CAMTS Requirement: 2,000 total hours (1,500hrs helicopter, 1,000hrs PIC helicopters, 500hrs turbine helicopters)
- 100 hours unaided night operations or 50 hours unaided + 100 hours NVG
- Body weight 235 lbs or less
- Strong internal and external customer service skills
- Ability to pass pre‑placement physical exam (strength, flexibility, lift 100 lbs), drug screening and background screen
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Annual flu vaccine not required
The package includes competitive pay, shift bonuses, shift incentives, an annual safety bonus, an annual employee bonus, off‑duty housing, a $20,000 annual stipend, and a sign‑on bonus up to $50,000. Additional benefits are available throughout the year.
Schedule/LocationSchedule:
7 Days/7 Nights rotation (schedule may change). Must live within 60 minutes of a major airport and travel to the assigned base.
