Delivery Driver - CDL-A

Location:

Mesa, AZ. This is a local, home‑daily driving position with shifts from 4:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. A valid Class A CDL license is required.

The Delivery Driver (CDL-A) is responsible for transporting goods safely in a commercial vehicle or box truck on various routes to deliver products or materials. The role ensures exceptional customer satisfaction with each delivery.

• Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers as per assigned routes and schedules. Load and unload products, ensuring items are handled properly to avoid damage.
• Plan and follow the most efficient routes to guarantee timely deliveries while optimizing fuel and time.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally during deliveries.
• Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures, completing delivery logs, and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
• Perform routine vehicle checks, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
• Handle delivery challenges such as incorrect addresses or customer concerns, and report unresolved issues to management.
• Assist with basic warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes, such as organizing inventory or preparing orders.
• Other responsibilities may be assigned.

• 6‑12 months (or more) of recent and verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Familiarity with FMCSA rules and regulations.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical with a current valid medical card in the state licensed.
• Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is an advantage.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Safe driving record with a customer‑service mindset.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Basic communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Physical requirements:
  
  comfortable with long periods of driving and physically demanding tasks such as lifting and carrying.
