Overview
As a Warehouse Coordinator you will cover a multitude of disciplines such as overseeing the movement and storage of goods throughout the warehouse, managing warehouse inventory and maintaining a database. Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.
What You Will DoA Typical Day at Prime Controls
- Schedule materials to be moved to and from offsite storage facility
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup
- Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules.
- Assist personnel with material transfers throughout warehouse and to offsite locations
- Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse
- Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner
- Receive merchandise as per packing lists in our Purchasing/Accounting module. Scan and file copies of packing lists onto the ERP.
- Interface with other departments to ensure Inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
- Document all related activities and completes forms and reports.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
- Performs other related duties as directed.
- Ability to operate a forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment; operate as needed.
- Ability to lift or move heavy products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to keep accurate records.
- Ability to work under deadlines and meet competing demands.
- Good customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proven traits in dependability, initiative, high energy, and proficient in time management.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Previous warehouse experience required.
- Forklift Operator Certification required.
