Warehouse Lead – Mesa, Arizona

The Warehouse Lead (WL) directs the activities of the warehouse staff to provide equipment, tools and supplies in order to support and optimize field operations.

• First point of contact with Smartsheet for tools and general requests.
• Delegates request and tasks based on date and priority.
• Manage tasks for Ware housemen day‑to‑day operations.
• Provide help to Ware housemen for transport of goods and services.
• Communicate with Warehouse Logistics Manager in operations.
• Assist in training of new hires and day‑to‑day tasks.
• Maintain Smartsheet general requests and order brain for status and updates.
• Work with Project Managers for special request, stocking, and releases.
• Maintain storage log/inventory of job site materials.
• Oversight of PPE inventory.

• Ware housemen experience required.
• Some college preferred; HS/GED required.
• At least 1 year’s proven successful experience in a supervisory role.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Good driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Provide innovative thinking to improve processes.
• Problem solving.
• Collaborate with others and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to employee safety.

Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time (8 hours or more); bend/stoop, kneel/crouch; lift, move or push up to 50 lbs; good manual dexterity (use/management of tools); ability to climb using a ladder. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Generally Monday – Friday during normal business hours (required to respond to after‑hours requests); primarily indoors (warehouse); warehouse temperatures vary by season; some office work in a temperature‑controlled environment; may encounter noise from machinery/equipment/vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the Warehouse Lead may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration; may be exposed to a variety of extreme conditions while on construction job sites (weather, noise, etc.).
