Material Handler
The Material Handler plays a key role in receiving, inspecting, and organizing materials to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position unloads deliveries, verifies and records incoming materials in the ERP system, and ensures accurate, efficient material flow throughout the facility. The role requires strong attention to detail, safe operation of material handling equipment, and effective communication with Purchasing, Planning, Logistics, and Quality teams.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy and quality.
- Accurately enter receiving transactions into the ERP system and maintain proper documentation, labeling, and inventory records.
- Identify and communicate shortages, damages, discrepancies, or nonconformance issues to Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics teams.
- Operate material handling equipment safely while supporting inventory control, material movement, and warehouse organization.
Essential Skills
- 1+ year of warehouse, receiving, or material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience with the ability to safely operate material handling equipment and follow all safety procedures.
- Experience with inventory control processes and ERP/WMS systems for tracking receiving and inventory transactions.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and reviewing shipping documentation.

Work Environment
This role is based in a modern, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mesa, Arizona, equipped with Industry 4.0 technology and advanced material handling systems. Positions are available on both first and second shifts, with first shift running Monday through Thursday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and second shift running Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., including a shift differential for second shift.
Training takes place on first shift, and mandatory overtime on Fridays may be required to meet production deadlines. The work involves frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 30–35 pounds, and performing tasks that may require stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing portable ladders. The role requires regular use of forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment, as well as adherence to safety protocols and the use of personal protective equipment.
The receiving dock and staging areas are active, high-traffic environments where cleanliness, organization, and safe material flow are essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mesa, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.30/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
