Warehouse SUMMARY

Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments in a manner that add value to the company by performing the following duties.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developing / Fully Functioning Operator
  • Receive, store, issue, and/or transfer materials in accordance with established procedures.
  • Accurately perform inventory transactions using warehouse management or ERP systems.
  • Pick, stage, package, and/or distribute materials to support demand
  • Perform routine inventory counts and report inventory discrepancies as requested.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete required documentation.
  • Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area.
  • Report inventory issues, shortages, or process concerns to higher-level coordinators or supervisors.
  • Assist with physical inventories and other warehouse activities as assigned.
  • Learn and use warehouse equipment such as a computer, carousel, fork lift, scissor lift, cherry picker, golf cart, flatbed, ladder, and truck to perform job duties
Qualifications

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to get along with others or to be part of a team.
  • Access to Export Control Information.
  • Regular attendance at the worksite.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six (6) months’ work related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Certifications Preferred:
Forklift Certification, Haz Mat Certification, International Air Transport Association (IATA) training.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is designated by the employer to be a safety-sensitive position.

Work performed in an office and factory settings.

Exposure to shop environment such as noise, dust, odors and fumes.

Occasionally required to lift up to 20 lbs.

Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facilities.
