Medical Technologist - Part-Time

We are seeking a
Medical Technologist (MT) for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

Job Summary:

• The Medical Technologist is responsible for day-to-day supervision or oversight of the Laboratory's operations in the area that they are responsible.
• The Medical Technologist is responsible for the prompt and accurate performance of all laboratory tests to be performed in designated departments in the Lab.
• Demonstrates knowledge of quality control, quality improvement, preventive maintenance and functional verification in all equipment in the Lab.
• Involved in proficiency testing and performance improvement.
• Must be able to perform and report tests, monitor quality control and provide on-site supervision of testing processes as a daily function.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have Bachelors in Medical Technology or equivalent for Nevada License, or chemical, physical or biological sciences and a minimum of three years training/experience in high complexity testing.
• NV General Supervisor License Laboratory Required
• ASCP, AMT, or HEW Registry Required

** Pay range: $32.44 - $40.55 (depending on experience)**

Bachelors or better in Medical Technology or related field.
