Part-Time General Laborer

Overview

Precision Aggregate is hiring a general laborer in Mesquite NV!

The General Laborer is responsible for supporting daily aggregate production activities, including site maintenance, material handling, and assisting equipment operators. This position works outdoors in a physically demanding environment and follows all company safety standards and operational procedures.

• Perform general labor tasks including shoveling, raking, sweeping, and material cleanup around plant and quarry areas.
• Assist with the operation of crushers, screens, conveyors, wash plants, and other aggregate processing equipment.
• Support equipment operators by staging materials, clearing work areas, and communicating site conditions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, washing down equipment, and ensuring walkways remain clear.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as greasing equipment, tightening hardware, and clearing material blockages.
• Follow all company, OSHA, and MSHA safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks, directing traffic flow, and ensuring safe movement of vehicles and equipment.
• Participate in daily safety meetings, toolbox talks, and job hazard assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support production and site operations.

This is a safety sensitive position as the laborer will often work around live traffic and active heavy equipment and machinery. Travel is required. Must be able to work Nights/Days.
