Accounting Associate

Hotel:
Mesquite Hampton Inn & Suites 1700 Rodeo Drive Mesquite, TX 75149
Full time. Compensation Range: $19 per hour. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and location. Actual pay may vary.

• Complete daily income audit, billing, collections, accounts payable, and deposit tasks to maintain financial accuracy.
• Protect guest and company information with integrity.
• Support hotel team with clerical and accounting tasks to improve efficiency.
• Resolve accounting issues promptly and courteously.
• Assist corporate in closing books, preparing clean ledgers, and generating accurate Excel, workbook, and Access reports.

• 1+ years of accounting experience.
• Hotel accounting or front desk experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office; working knowledge of POS/PMS systems.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts.
