The City of Mesquite is seeking an Accounting Technician to prepare and reconcile monthly bank accounts, process journal entries, perform data entry, and support the Finance division. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and experience in governmental accounting is preferred.
Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with responsibilities including import of accounting data, 1099 preparation, and coordination with the accounting software system.
