Treatment Coordinator; Orthodontics

We're in search for a motivated and outgoing Patient Coordinator for our orthodontic team. This individual will need to be able to communicate effectively, be a fast learner, and have great customer service. The perfect candidate should have knowledge of Orthodontics and possess the ability to close treatment cases. This candidate will travel to our Mesquite, TX, Terrell, TX, and Kaufman, TX locations.

• Check-in / check-out Patients – Providing great patient service with a smile and positive attitude. Make sure information has been entered correctly. Get a copy of insurance card.
• Collect monies when required. Ensure follow-up appointments are scheduled. Initial audit.
• Schedule patients — Appointments are made correctly and are communicated correctly.
• Medical Records — Ensure all records and consents are completed.
• Calling patients with insurance estimates and, if necessary, verifying insurance benefits.
• Complete data reporting in a timely manner; handle incoming/outgoing phone calls.
• Treatment Plans / Charges — Present treatment plans efficiently and effectively. Have a high ability to close cases. Able to accurately answer insurance/finance questions pertaining to the treatment plan.

• One or more years of dental office experience; orthodontic experience is a plus
• Bilingual is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to communicate face to face, through email, and by phone
• Must be team-oriented and willing to collaborate with others
• Must have a patient-first philosophy
• Ability to commute to both locations (Mesquite, Terrell, and Kaufman)
• One Saturday a month
