Dallas College seeks an experienced, innovative, and highly collaborative academic leader to serve as the Vice Provost, School of Manufacturing & Industrial Technology. Reporting to the Provost, the Vice Provost will provide strategic leadership for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of credit-hour programs within the School while advancing academic quality, faculty excellence, student success, workforce alignment, and community impact.

This is a unique opportunity to lead one of Dallas College's key academic schools at the intersection of higher education, workforce development, economic mobility, and industry partnership. The School of Manufacturing & Industrial Technology plays a critical role in preparing students for high-demand careers and supporting the region's need for a skilled, adaptable, and future-ready workforce.

The Vice Provost will serve as an advocate for students, faculty, instructors, local business and industry partners, while assisting and advising the Provost in matters related to professional and technical education. This leader will also actively engage with community and employer partners to create new partnerships, responsive programs, and revenue opportunities.

Serving within one of the largest community college systems in Texas, the Vice Provost will have the opportunity to strengthen academic pathways, expand workforce partnerships, and support Dallas College's mission of placing students at the center of everything we do.

The successful candidate will be a strategic, student-centered, and collaborative leader with a proven record of enhancing academic quality, supporting faculty excellence, improving student outcomes, and leading within a complex college or university environment.

The Vice Provost provides executive-level leadership for the School of Manufacturing & Industrial Technology and is responsible for academic quality, strategic growth, faculty leadership, student outcomes, program effectiveness, and external partnerships.

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of credit-hour programs within the School of Manufacturing & Industrial Technology.
• Ensure academic excellence through curriculum quality, assessment, instructional effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain student pathways and degree maps to ensure students can access the courses and programs needed to reach economic security and success.
• Align course offerings and scheduling across the institution to promote student success, effectiveness, and efficiency.
• Ensure excellence of curriculum and offerings through benchmarking, assessment, and review of school and community needs.

• Oversee faculty managers and academic managers, including responsibilities related to curriculum, student learning outcomes and assessment, tutoring and supplemental academic support, instruction, and faculty professional development.
• Provide leadership for faculty evaluation, instructional quality, and academic staff effectiveness.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and student-centered teaching.
• Support faculty recruitment, engagement, development, and continuous improvement efforts.
