Our client is looking for a caring, nurturing, and energetic full-time
LeadTeacherto join their premier preschool in Mesquite, TX
. The ideal candidate must be willing to work with children 2to 3-years-old; as well as be comfortable with diapering and toilet training.
This is a Direct Hire position with the school
- Full-time; year-round employment
- Lead Toddler: working with children 2 to 3 years old
- $15 – $18/hour pending education, credentials, and professional Early Childhood Education experience

Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children
Responsible for the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities and curriculum as well as the maintenance of educational portfolios
Supervise and engage children in educational and play activities
Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Monitor and ensure the well-being of each child in your care
Communicate with parents about their child's progress and any concerns
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment
Participate in training sessions, workshops, and staff meetings to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education
REQUIRED
Education:
Child Development Associate (CDA), Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or an education related fieldREQUIRED Experience:three years of experience in a licensed Early Childhood Education facility
Mustbe able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations – for Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
