The Selected Candidate(S) Will Have The Opportunity To Both Manage And Perform Design Work For Complex And Challenging Projects Within The District's Robust Project Portfolio. Candidates In The In-House Design Role Will Perform Transportation Engineering Design And Project Management For In-House Mobility Projects.

Ensures Compliance With Applicable Federal And State Laws, Policies, Procedures, Standards And Guidelines. Work Requires Contact With Governmental Officials And Private Entities. - Transportation Engineer I, II:
Performs Highly Advanced And Complex Engineering Design Work Performs And/Or Coordinates The Review And Processing Of Plans, Specifications, And Estimates Monitors Consultants' Progress And Work Quality;
Checks Invoices And Associated Documents Represents The District At Technical Meetings And Public Hearings Reviews Schematics, Pse, Project Designs On Engineering Transportation Projects Makes Presentations And Represents Txdot Performs Other Duties As Assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

Education
- Transportation Engineer I, II:
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering Or Related Science Bachelor's Or Higher Degree Accepted By Tx Pels.

Experience:

Transportation Engineer I - 4 Years Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Or Related Engineering Experience (Experience Can Be Satisfied By Full Time Or Prorated Part Time Equivalent). Related Graduate Level Education May Be Substituted For Experience On A Year Per Year Basis. Substitutions For
